WHEN IS THE PAYMENT DUE?
Before we begin most projects, we will collect a ten percent deposit before starting the job. That deposit is based on ten percent of the total estimated cost for the job.
We typically won’t attempt to collect payment again until the project is complete and the project manager has performed their final walkthrough. If there is a break in work or if it is a larger project, we will take a progress payment. Any expectations for progress payments will be set before we begin the job.
Once you have signed off and are happy with the job, the project manager will ask you how you plan to pay. The most convenient way is to have cash or a check ready at this point.
You can either give the money to the project manager, or you can mail it to the main office address below:
114 S Main Street
Tipton, Indiana 46072.
WHAT IF I WANT TO PAY BY CARD?
We do accept card payments using Hearth, a third-party payment processor that specializes in contractor work. There is a 3% convenience fee if you choose to pay with a card. That is the payment processing fee, and Heritage doesn’t make any additional money off of that charge.
To pay by card, just call the office and the administrative team will send you both an email and a text message with a link to the payment portal. We don’t accept credit card numbers over the phone for your own security. The link in your email and text will have you fill out your card information, and the payment should be processed automatically.
WHAT IF I CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY ALL AT ONCE?
That’s okay! We offer financing through our banking partners as well. That’s a great way to make sure projects get done in a timely manner without stressing about coming up with the money all at once. If you want to get an estimate on payments and rates, you can explore payment plans here.
The APR (annual percentage rate) will vary based on a number of factors, so the interest accrued likely means you will pay more than the project amount over a longer period of time. However, the convenience of paying monthly is a great option for those who can’t or don’t want to pay all at once. There are 0% APR offers for individuals who qualify.
And that’s how you can make payments for projects to Heritage Painting. Once your project is finished, you will want to make sure they are properly cleaned. If you haven’t gotten an estimate yet but are considering one, now is the perfect time to do it! Fill out the form below to get a free estimate on your project today.
